I've never interacted a calico before. They say their personalities are somewhat diva-ish. I'm basically living in the "South." The "typical South" where everything is conservative and painfully behind on the times. It's effeminate-- and therefore queer/gay, and therefore discriminated upon-- to name pets. It's gay to talk to pets. A "true man" would only call their pet as "cat" or "boy" or in our case, "miming." Feed them, respect them, and done. It's basically only a duty to take care of animals with no activities that make having pets wonderful. This is a toxic place to be in for a queer person. It's these little things that continue to sadden me.
